I love the 'hair net' and could not resist using the other pic I took yesterday.
Last night was a little rough. Dr. Mason said people who live with pain are not good at dealing with new pain. I remember that the first 24 hours were the worst and the second 24 were somewhat better.
This morning was busy for several reasons. I was still tired from yesterday and from awaking several times for longer periods than normal. We did make it through the night. In hind sight, I wish they had kept Tony one night. However, hind sight is always 20/20 right?
This morning I had a headache, the floor needed mopping, Tony wanted breakfast, there was a mess on the feeding mat for the puppies, puppies needed fed, dishes to wash, the bed needed to be made up, I needed to get dressed, Mom called about her hurting shoulder, the puppies needed walking, laundry was needing folding and washer refilled, and I got an email telling me that my application for 2,000 pounds had been approved only the last four of the account was incorrect, had to call the credit card company, we made no such request . . . and the list goes on.
I walked the puppies, made coffee, called my doctor to cancel my appointment then Mom's doctor and made an appointment, called Mom to let her know she could get into see the doctor at 3 pm, mopped the floor, took the garbage out, cleaned up the puppies feeding mat, and started breakfast. Tony wanted over easy eggs . . . three of them . . . and corned beef hash. I turned out really good. It had been forever since I had fixed corned beef hash.
Then the dishes including the chili pot from the craft workshop were washed and set out to air dry, got dressed, cleaned out the frig and washed storage containers, folded laundry, put more in the washer, made up the bed, did a little reading, worked on the slippers for Alex, and after gathering my thoughts was able to get things togethr to go to Mom's doctor's appointment.
I made a stop at Kroger to drop off Tony's prescription, then checked my mail and paid for another month's mailbox rental, and then headed to PetSmart to pick up some squeaky balls for Jack. While I was there i picked up more Little Caesar's and the dry food Babe likes. It is very tiny and she has no trouble swallowing it.
Next stop was the doctor's office. I made it just in time. After an xray it was determined that Mom was experiencing swelling in the tendons of the shoulder and they gave her a steroid shot that I hope solves the issue.
On the way home I got gas at Kroger and picked up some cleaning solution for the car.
Tony was resting in bed when I got home. I took Jack out, got all the items brought in from the car, refilled my water bottle container. put the dishes away, heated up some chicken and rice soup, folded clothes and started another load. I finished up one slipper for Alex and began the other.
I will be glad when the sun starts showing up again and when this weather warms up.
